The Wittenham Clumps are a stunning landscape feature known across Oxfordshire. Recently voted one of the most valued sites in the county, the management of such a vital site costs significant amounts of money each year.
A Legacy is a very simple way to remember your association with this beautiful spot and leaving a lasting impact for others to enjoy.
With the future shape of our precious countryside so uncertain, the work of the Northmoor Trust has never been more needed. With your help we can continue the vital education, research and conservation work taking place on and around our estate.
Why make a Will?
Having an up-to-date will is so important but less than half of people in the UK have one when they die. Without an up-to-date will, family and friends could well be faced with a financial and legal muddle; and the State could take everything. Those you may have wished to benefit like friends and good causes may end up with nothing.
A will is a uniquely personal document - your way of knowing that your final wishes will be carried out. It will ensure that those closest to you are provided for and - should you wish - support causes you care about.
Why not support the protection of this well loved area?
Many people don’t have a will because they think it’s too expensive, or simply forget to get one drawn up. But it’s simpler and cheaper than you think.
When you do make or update your will, and have remembered your loved ones, please consider helping the future of the Wittenham Clumps and the important work of the Northmoor Trust by leaving a gift in your will.
Charitable legacies are currently exempt from Inheritance Tax - so ALL of your gift will be used to fund our vital work. A codicil can easily be added to include a charitable gift.
