Sustainability is at the heart of everything we do
Fison Barn is a stunning example of sustainability at its very best. All drinking water is from our on-site well and our biomass boiler provides under floor heating for all our buildings. We harvest rain water for our toilets and our solar panels generate around 10,000 Wh of greenhouse free electricity each year.
Surrounded by wildlife
Our Fison Barn opens onto our tranquil courtyard where bats and swallows have made their homes in the barn eaves and floral displays of herb and plants attract butterflies and insects.
Only 20 minutes from Oxford
Nestling at the foot of the Wittenham Clumps, the Northmoor Trust centre is set admist 700 acres of stunning countryside yet is conveniently located just 20 minutes from Oxford and 30 minutes from the M4 and Reading.

100 auditorium style seating
80 carousel seating with 10 x 5ft circular tables and chairs
The courtyard and Poem Tree refreshment area can be used to increase capacity for less formal catering.

Catering
We don't at the moment offer in-house catering, but we can provide a list of our preferred suppliers for all catering styles whether you are planning a medieval banquet or a more informal hog roast!
Poem Tree Refreshments Barn
The Poem Tree Refreshments Barn can also be used by special arrangement and in conjunction with access to our Project Timescape exhibition.
